See Your Church’s Readiness with Clarity and Hope
This free, practical Scorecard helps leaders like you assess how well your church is equipped to care for vulnerable children and families—without shame or pressure.

Every church has a place in caring for vulnerable children and families.
This practical, gospel-centered assessment is designed for pastors and church leaders who want to evaluate how prepared their church is to care for vulnerable children and families. It will help you identify strengths, areas for growth, and practical next steps for faithful ministry.
Throughout this assessment, “this ministry” refers to your church’s intentional efforts to care for vulnerable children, families, foster and adoptive families, and others in need through gospel-centered ministry. This may include children’s ministry, foster care and adoption ministry, family support, respite care, mentoring, prevention efforts, or other ministries that serve vulnerable families in your community.
When you finish, you will receive a readiness score, an explanation of what it means, identified strengths, areas for growth, recommended next steps, and practical resources. BCH can also help your church explore coaching or consultation when that would be useful.
